It is really easy to crack the porcelain of a plug and ruin it depending on if you actually take that parcel shelf out in the rear or not. I have many people drop them to me to fix after attempting the same service without removing that shelf..... replace #6 spark plug, good to go 9 times out of 10.
Another one to add to the oddities file, BMW likes to use 12 point spark plugs, unless you have a really narrow wall, deep well socket changing them is impossible because of the clearance to the spark plug bore.
Way easier if you take the cabin air boxes off the car first. depending on the mileage when you get them done, for sure they can be a huge pain to do..... If you're talking a 535, you'll need a narrow clearance 12 point 14mm deep well socket as well, DOH! Who thought up a 12 point spark plug anyway?
To this topic i'd like to say, may god have mercy on your soul if you work on 5.4 fords on a regular basis. If they don't do this (pictured below), they may just rocket right out of the cylinders in spite.
