This was the first thing I thought as well. Figures they put a VW product up for a demonstration of the CEL, LOL.

How did RPM with David Arquette not make this list?

I also see some Mahindra Scorpio in the design. I couldn't find the one I was thinking of with a full chrome grill but does look a bit borrowed.

I love that after the tires go flying of he's like, "no, no, no, I got this, little bit of oppo and she'll straighten right out." like somehow turning the knuckles or what is left of the corner modules is somehow going to steer the car.

I would have to agree with this statement. I was eating outside at a place in Ann Arbor one day and some jersey shore lookin' douche went blazing by at about 40 miles an hour in first gear.....

I have on occasion ignited a load of mulch on fire with the stack in the bed of my truck, so this is a legitimate concern.

Build thread starts out with a guy looking for an air filter for his sweet new LoveFab compounds on his truck..... and ends with a complete grenaded truck engine, trans, body damage all in the hands of Cody LoveFab. I'm sure some have seen his other NSX handywork on here.

Cadillac ELR. Go look it up.

I'll go with adjusting valves. Its a tedious process at best and you have to have these goofy offset wrenches pictured above to work on the OM617.... no fun. and seemingly it needs to be done every other weekend to keep valve clatter to a minimum while commuting any distance to work.

Tractor Pulling, hands down. anything from garden tractors and 4x4 trucks to superstock unlimited tractors with 5 supercharged big blocks or a pair of merlins. Plenty of diesel smoke to go around or loud noises enough to deafen people a 1/2 mile away.

Sorry to say that I missed the original topic here. I'd like to submit Vacuum actuated wipers to the mix... AMC's had them in the mid 60's I have yet to see one that actually worked in service.

I know that Daewoo has been mentioned already a few times, but the Nubira and Llanos stand out in my mind as particularly bad. Based on their own recommendations timing belts should have been changed at like 90K miles. I've seen just about every one in the junkyard with well under that with a snapped timing belt

The Maserati Biturbo has to be pretty close to the top of the list. I'm a glutton for punishment when it comes to used automobiles, but after test driving a reasonably well cared for version of this thing, even I didn't jump on the deal...

Well, we may have found our next lemons theme. I'll one up Bucksnort if it's the last thing I do.

O_O

The car in Clockwork Orange was quite the letdown too. it looks cool and fast as hell, but it's probably a VW kit car of some form with a 1600 cc lawnmower pushing it down the road. Not to mention in the actual movie I'm thinking they really only used green screen shots of the car standing still.

Dodge Dually from Death Race. Surely its an HD truck, with a diesel, and a stick right? Nope, built from a 1500 gas truck 2wd even I think. As an HD truck enthusiast, quite the letdown.

The dodge intrepid was pretty bad too. Concept:

You can rent tires? If you can't afford, a set of $300 dollar Chinese rubber to toss under your vehicle and run you may want to reconsider your vehicle of choice or transportation options.

2013 RAM HD's 385 hp and 850 ft lbs. torque. Is there any reason you'd ever need to hustle some heifer that size to 60 in under 8 seconds, probably not, but it'll do it, all day long.
