The problem is the Supreme court years ago came up with the doctrine of qualified immunity which has been expanded to more or less say that unless the exact, specific scenario has come up before, then the police get a free pass to violate someone’s civil rights and can’t be held accountable.

And sadly all that can be done in CAD.

You can let people decide because they might pick the other option. They learned this from politicians I guess.

It will be “seamless”. They said you’ll still be able to use bluetooth to make calls and stream audio, LOL. I think it will connect automatically but I haven’t used it in however many years since Carplay came out. This is such a massive takeaway of functionality sending back to the tech of 20 years ago.

There was a period of a few years where the manufacturers had the option of either the passive seatbelt or an airbag.

There are ways to do the auto stop/start well. Our 2019 Wrangler has it and it uses a belt driven starter/generator with a battery back. It can silently and instantly start the engine and it also provides propulsive power under 1500 RPM. You can barely notice it at all.

So, your very poorly written comment is confusing, but it seems like you’re arguing that because Ethiopian Airlines didn’t somehow decide on their own the plane wasn’t safe, that the people that literally sat around tables and decided to send an unsafe plane into the world that they know was unsafe should get off scot

The wheels I can maybe see if other cars were parked on each side. Maybe.

Just think if they made a Hellcat minivan!

That’s totally valid and more people should demand that, but compared to so many other killings of citizens by police, where people had their hands up, were completely subdued and passed out or just plain minding their own business, this looks pretty justified. But if cops aren’t trained to be-escalate, they’re going

So interesting how when it’s a white guy the “comply and no harm will come to you” people have a different story.

As automakers seem to want to do more and more features behind paywalls, this is something they should probably consider.

Aren't automakers his main customers? He tears it down and they buy his books full of findings.

Sta-bil always kept the gas fresh enough to get through the winter for me. Then I switched to all battery powered tools like 6-7 years ago and never looked back.

Yeah, most of these are actual contact incidents. A near miss is the 1000 thing. Or if say the taxi incident was one plane coming 6 inches from the other when they should have been 20 feet apart. If they hit, it’s not a near miss.

Honestly it seems like ATC would be about the perfect job for someone with ADHD, as it seems like there are no long term planning things to deal with, it is all making decisions on a seconds to minutes time frame based on data being fed to you.

I’m sure the machine will be prominently visible.

Looks more like the customer drove through the doors while the elevator was below on another floor.

That looks to have been twisted a fair bit solid bet it will be nearly impossible to get it to drive straight.

I posted about it, but there’s something different about the JL generation. I’m assuming the steering dampers are not up to the task or they fail, but it was worse than previous generation Jeeps we’ve had.
