But, you’re still needing the same road as the expedition guy. Why should you pay less to maintain and build it? Now, I can see a need for it to be keyed to a vehicles weight or something, which would offset that somewhat.

Same thing here. It would be safe to assume any state with an annual inspection already gets the odometer reading or certainly it would be easy enough to start getting it. In those states, no need for any sort of tracking system at all.
Interesting as I’m from NC where to my knowledge we have never had any sort of state level rebate and I see multiple Teslas daily as well as Leafs pretty regularly plus plus a rando here and there. There’s even a guy somewhere nearby that drives a Fisker Karma as I see it maybe once a month or so.
Sorry, but the “fine” is merely you paying your share of the tax that builds and keeps up the roads you drive on, which is the gas tax. Now, a more fair way would be a tax on miles driven, but until they figure that out, it seems perfectly fair that electric vehicle drivers don’t get a free ride. The old $5000…
Exactly. What’s better, a bunch of people in government, who each are for about 90% of what you’re for and 10% against (keeping in mind the against stuff is not likely to all be the same) or the same group, except they’re all 97% against what you want and 3% for? Seems some people aren’t taking the long view or ever…
Yeah really. What a dumb ass. :o (Though I did already acknowledge the error)
Shit, why couldn’t I think of mandibles!
Ugh, autocorrect. Damaged, not god aged.
They even made this device to get people out of cars with god aged doors and gave it a catchy name. Something about living teeth or something. ;)
The whole freaking left needs to take your words to heart! Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good! We wouldn’t even be in this shitty dam situation with trump if so many people were so concerned with getting 100% of their end goal in one fell swoop instead of say 75% now and work on the rest gradually. So instead get…
I’ll give you all that, but, not that he didn’t check his mirrors for 4 plus miles. He’s supposed to be a professional driver.
The biggest battleships on the ocean. You won’t beleive how big and beautiful they are going to be! And due to my superior negotiation skills, we will get our Enemies to pay for them!
They do start service in business/first as soon as they are seated, so you can get your drink delivered before most people even get on board the aircraft.
There’s a guy somewhere nearby (I’ve seen him 2-3 times) with a Tesla with the license plate COALPWRD. Though it was pretty clever as even though we have a nuclear plant nearby, this area is still over 50% electricity from coal. Nice poke at the sometimes douch-ey electric car crowd.
I think some form of Chaffetz for governor .com or some such redirects to his past House campaign page according to a post I saw on twitter, so that seems more likely.
The 4 cylinder in the GLA 45 AMG sounds pretty nice. But yeah, it’s still a 4.
Orly? Now you have my attention wondering if that in line six would fit in the F-Type. That would be some sexy machinery.
When I was a kid (46 now) my dad smoked unfiltered Camels. More than once I saw him tape butts (roaches? ;) ) together to smoke when he thought it was too late to go out and get more. Addiction is hardcore.
Unfortunately it started way before he had anything to do with it.
This is pretty much his secret to success from everything I’ve seen. Pretty amazing how many small business owners still vote for him considering he is the last person anyone of them would want as a customer.
