There is a balance that needs to be struck. And CDPR has done an amazing job at accomplishing that. Just cuz TW3 is so vast doesn’t make it mindless. You obviously just read the headline. In the text it says how well developed all the side quests are and the sheer quantity of them.
PC gamers blame the console version for “ruining mah gamez” but console gamers can blame the PC version for the detection of intractable items being so small. Gotta get right up on it and look at it just right to get the interact prompt. Early on there was an impaled horse I wanted to loot but couldn’t because…
It isn’t frustrating to me but I can see what you’re saying. I have more problems with “clunkyness” (for lack of a better term) IN combat and less so outside of combat.
True. Just trying to give more insight.
Blue Screen-o-Death.
You’re right, most strikes (especially on NightFall) have the hardest part early or midway through with getting to the boss an almost guaranteed victory. This new strike gets progressively harder with the hardest part being the boss fight. Nice change of pace for a NF Strike.
I think he means a (near) invulnerable location you can stand at with little chance at taking damage. Not sure tho as I don’t know of one in that fight.
I don’t think that’s true. Doing Crota with all 30s was almost impossible at first. It took a lvl31 to come in and do more damage to even finish. Damage output DOES increase with level increases just as incoming damage in decreased. (At least with relics, 50% more base relic damage each level increase). You just don’t…
Nice comprehensive write up. Good read.

Any time! Anything I can do to get someone playing and getting into The Witcher games/universe is considered my good deed for the day :D
TW2 drops off a cliff in terms of difficulty... By the time you get to the second Act you breezing... I’d recommend playing them for their stories so just drop difficulty as low as you can stand and just have a content tour de force... But is it worth it? Depends on how much time you have before you get into TW3. If…
What a great read Kirk! I love the long form review.
“...wish you a fantastic next generation of RPG-gaming.”
You forgot the adjective “free” in the middle there. No complaints should be held by anyone.
