That must be it, Japan was able to get the theme on the release day of The Ringed City (03/28) and everyone else got it a month later.
It’s a character designed for people who have no idea what they are doing.
That must have been recent, because the US store got a Static Theme on the DLC’s release.
You want a good theme? Create a Japanese PSN Account and get the Dark Souls 3 Dynamic Theme that was released with the final DLC.
The last thing the PSN need is more Skull/Skeleton based themes or avatars.
How does an almost 20 year old game still have trade secrets that are worth anything?
The first three games are generic trance music, but the XGRA soundtrack has music from professional EDM artists.
One of the Steam reviews say you get a full copy of the soundtrack in both MP3 and OGG file formats. Think of it more as buying the soundtrack and getting the game for free.
