I have a Mercedes s350 and get incredible mileage and power from its 3.0 v6 turbo diesel. Very large car and 60 mph comes up in 7.0 seconds. The XC60s are beautiful cars now, especially inside. Volvo strikes a great middle ground between “nice car!” and “I wonder whose inheritance paid for that.” And they’re historically not as temperamental as German luxury cars, although they are a bit more of a risk than, say, a Toyota.
