H/T to another PA M Roadster owner.  I feel the same way.  This design doesn’t move me.  It looks too Mercedes from the front and too Fiat Spider from front on.  It looks derivative, which is not something I expect from BMW.

I loved barrelling that thing down the Mulsanne straight.

Red Bull’s F1/Fan Car mashup vision concept from a version or two of GT before this was better.

Yay, the annual refresher for my wallpapers folder!

I thought automotive bailouts were a thing of the past.

I had a manual, turbo one of these for a few years and enjoyed it.  But, you're operating under a misconception.  This car is not a heavy sports car, it is an entry level grand tourer.  I didn't realize it at the time, but that's totally what the mkIII was.  Look at the format, long nose, 2+2, with a parcel shelf

I stepped into a euro-sport dealership several years ago intending to buy a Boxster as the step up from my much-missed mkI MR2 I had to part ways with when time were tough. I sat in the Boxster and instantly found myself making excuses, the clutch was a hard press for something I wanted to be able to take to work now

When asked why Red Bull Racing chose NOT to take the current car on a road trip across the US, they responded simply, “Well, that would make us David Tracy.  It’s been done.

Besides Wonder Woman, this is the most interested I’ve been in a DC movie since the Dark Knight, so... I guess that qualifies as hype?

Yeah, Buick doesn’t really have much that ‘stirs the soul’ nowadays.  Those are reserved for GMC for big SUVs and Caddy for sportier cars.

You have to look at the lineups. Chevy has the benefit of cars like the Corvette and Camaro to tilt the balance. GMC has a lineup of mid-level and up models, usually very nicely trimmed. Buick basically has rebadged versions of mid-sized cars and SUVs from Chevy, which is not an exciting area of the market right now.

Results not unexpected if what was shown in the one on one portion holds true in the final fight.  Sith had 25k HP, the Knight had 4k HP.

That new Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is beautiful.

I know this may be dipping into spoiler territory, but this parallels a plot point in Hotel Transylvania 3, and that just makes me chuckle a bit.

You can have a Supra in any color you want, as long as it’s camo.

Tanks for the memories.

I’ve always disliked smooth BMW hoods, prefer a little M added to the formula:

Thanks for giving the Cliff’s Notes version of ball of goo Supergirl. As someone who didn’t follow DC regularly but picked up the collected Death of Superman story, I always wondered why Supergirl got one hit silly puttied in there with no explanation.

It depends on how you calculate it. If you’re going to pure number of burnouts it’s probably a trailered drag queen. If you’re going by percentage of the car’s life spend doing burnouts, I’m sure there’s been a low mileage Mustang or two that went: Dealer, Cars and Coffee, Burnout, Sidewalk, Impound. It may hold the
