SEC was probably too close to the regulatory agency its owners typically ran afoul of.

I used to own one; lots of fun. But I never hear them talked about, and especially not in the reverent tones reserved for the Integra and others. (It wasn’t even mentioned at the intro of this piece.)
I’d be more interested to see the average length of time owners hold onto each model, rather than a percentage of owners who hold each one for more than 15 years. I guess it wouldn’t make that much of a difference since 15 years is a relatively long time but still...
It’s Playmobil’s best seller, alongside the “Accounting Firm Office Cubicle (with fully functional Excel formulas!)” set.
I follow @PCALive on Twitter and have an alert set up to let me know when they tweet and there’s a live chase. It’s both extremely entertaining and builds relationships - nothing brings an office together like dropping what you’re doing to tune into a chase.
My biggest issue is with a so-called “journalist” typing the phrase: “...point out a few points”
Why do traffic cops even bother ticketing cars with diplo plates? Just seems like a waste of time.
I cannot fucking stand people who write or say “3am in the morning.” Same ones who put their “PIN number” in the “ATM machine.”
I honestly hope so...but I feel like wealthy BMW guys are typically hardcore purists and wouldn’t be down with this “impure” build. It’s badass but could be more tailored to Jalopnik readers (i.e. the people who chide Audi for not bringing over the $100k+ RS4 Avant and swear they would buy it but have an AGI of…
I think it’s over as well. The cost of these builds is always more exorbitant than you’d ever expect. It’s also not a rational proposition, or a money maker - just pure passion. And passion ain’t cheap. I just hope the owner isn’t married.
Curious what the owner has put into it. Over/under $50k?
Not to mention the source of the electricity is most likely not renewable/green/clean.
Creating a new Gmail and Voice account takes less time than commenting on an article. I’d say that makes it worth it to avoid being spammed for the next five years (anyone who thinks the “unsubscribe” link is a sure thing has clearly never been signed up for a dealership distribution list).
Loving the comments section lately.
You can in a small number of states, though the varying county/municipal laws make it a total crap shoot.
I think both outcome and intent are mitigating factors here.
...dealer’s will tack on...
“Selling out” ultimately benefits the enthusiast in the long run, though. By selling the Cayenne, Porsche is able to make profits that go towards making lower-margin models like the GT3 RS possible. If that’s all they sold they’d be out of business in no time.
Phenomenal headline
Now that they’re public (RACE!) you’d think there would be an obligation to sharholders to drop some of this stuck up bullshit and generate more earnings per share. But then again it’s an Italian company.
