And naturally he took it home to photograph and document, rather than complaining to the shop at the time. I call bullshit, too.

“I think the backbone to our republic and our democracy is open government and transparency in government and it shocks me that a lot of people don’t know the power of FOIA.”

In Texas, costs are charged per minute and split into two tiers; tier one is 60 kW charging or less at $0.08 per minute, and tier two is 60 kW charging or more at $0.16 per minute.

Also guaranteed to never see another one on the road. I saw my first K900 the other day and I found myself taking pics of it like it was a Pagani.

Every time I see “Q8" I think “Qwate.”

Brands will pay to put things like Tom Brady saying “the sleepwear I wear is so critical to how I recover every night” in front of potential customers. In fact, they do.

What are the odds this (or any Faraday product) actually gets made? The company strikes me as the next Theranos; in the end, just a bunch of bullshit. At some point either the public will stop believing in it, or the feds will step in somehow and put an end to the nonsense.

Is this a serious post? The suggestion to buy electronics just for the ear-cleaning twist-ties makes me think no, but given my current state of inebriation I’ll wait to reread and decide whether to test this out in the morning.

Damn, this used to be my background in like 2004. A pleasant blast from the past.

“NYC has brown-outs when every last one of its residents all turn on their air conditioners they bought off the street at the same time” is as much of a misguided oversimplification as Clarkson’s comments. If you’re going to refute someone’s statement it usually helps to be just a bit more empirical.

Will be good to know if this is the pattern (one good ep, one bad) so I can only tune in every other week.

Does an analog clock really take up a third of the instrument cluster? What a collosal waste of valuable space.

This is pretty intriguing. Comments like this make me wish I went to law school, just to use my knowledge for the purposes of trolling. Or not - could be a class action suit with a massive payday on the horizon.

Cities often use these, passenger buses, and whatever other large vehicles they have on hand as mobile barriers. Not really seeing this as odd/newsworthy.

I have no dog in this fight but I highly recommend following and setting an alert for@PCALive on Twitter. Since nothing brings an office together like a midday police chase, you’re guaranteed to become the new hero at work.
