Don’t be like me and ask for a Banjo! I knew I needed one of these, popped in to the kitchen store and promptly stuck my foot in my mouth. “Banjo? Oh you mean .....” I was so embarrassed
My Mom was Hal 9000's babysitter.
One thing’s for sure, I can’t outrun my own. I sometimes really need to place as much distance between my nose and the scene of the... uh crime but always end up trailing clouds of stink in my general direction of escape.
Is this race so competitive that lower ranked teams would resort to sabotage to gain an advantage?
If one were to win the lottery could one purchase an OV-10? Because that looks like a sweet aircraft for Joe-Pilot to mess around in.
I’ve often wondered, when viewing videos of terrorist ‘training’ camps and ceremonies like the file videos they trot out for all news stories on Al Qaeda, why no one was dropping bombs or cruise missiles on them.
Reading further on this it’s three artists that were instrumental (apologies) for changing how contracts were written. Dean Martin, Olivia N John and FZ. Contracts used to be for x/ years, then x/albums in x/years and then x/albums in x/years ( no more than 2 years between for ex) for x/years. Dean Martin was thought…
She should just do a Frank Zappa and pump out the required albums and move on. Frank had sooo much stuff recorded, everything really, that he fulfilled his Warner (?) requirements in a year and then started putting out his music on his own label.
The Cuisinart is my current machine and it does keep coffee hot for far longer than any thermal I’ve ever used. But the Bodum is a better brewer. Mine however crapped out after a year. Not worth it if it’s not gonna last. I had a Braun KF20 that worked for 25 years. They don’t build ‘em like they used to.

..and it’s a bunch of kids in their 20's mostly. Which is remarkable in and of itself. That’s military training and organization for you
...and a Marine. OORAH!
Didn’t the President of Brasil insist the USAF Thunderbirds do a low altitude supersonic fly-by despite their vociferious protests that every window in downtown Rio was in jeopardy?
Yell “Black Bear!” at him next time he’s between tunes.
I remember reading about EMP in Avation Week magazine in the 70's. A detailed article on the effects of the high altitude nuclear tests over Johnston Island that fried the Hawaii phone system and the modern consequences of a theoretical HEMP strike over CONUS. The cartoon of USAF NCOs feeding pigeons with the caption…
Ahh no. There are times I drive myself out of the room due to the foul emanations from my nether region. So as a rule mine are just as bad as yours.
...and relief tubes....sweet.sweet relief.
Some of the drivers that come up to us in Canada from the Chicago area are from E. Europe, the Balkans etc. English as well as driving skills seem to be their major shortcomings. Our receiving crew can unload a 53’ trailer in a shorter time than it takes some of these guys to back up to our dock, no shit.
The other side of the coin; A female driver from Illinois asked me if we had anyone that could back her semi up to our angled dock because she couldn’t do that. That was my WTF moment. How do these drivers pass their semi operator tests if they can’t do or understand basic skills?
