There’s a massive range of “so fucked” that’s not human extinction. But there are certainly clicks in talking about the worse possible scenarios.

I don’t think it’s a matter of feeling better. It just seems probable. I’d modify it to “one of the last large land species”, since there’s some deep-sea stuff that I think is almost completely unaffected by atmospheric conditions. But I’d certainly bet on humanity going extinct after most other mammals.

In my experience, the whole “guys just want sex” thing is overstated. Guys just want sex when they haven’t had it in a long time. Once the sex is regular other desires come to the forefront.

I imagine culture plays a role too - for a long time just about everywhere (and still many places today), discretion was a matter of survival, and even two strangers had the common enemy of a world that would severely punish them both if discovered.

Before Hyrule Warriors I’d only played Dynasty Warriors 8 XL - I was disappointed HW doesn’t let you play the opposite side of story battles in free mode.

Maybe I’m missing something (I’m not a writer), but I really don’t get this. Countless women have written (in detail) about their own sexual experiences - why can’t male authors take that as a starting point to write scenes that read halfway plausibly?
