Yeah, but “they cheated because of their scumbaggery” is an equally pat answer.
Oh, I thought OP meant this story was contributing to that.
I initially read that as “she will be engaged in 2 years to a white woman”, and was surprised at such a specific bisexual prediction.
What’s wrong with not wanting more kids?
Ned didn’t “turn his back” on her father. The Mad King ordered Jon Arryn to hand over Ned and Robert right after murdering Rickard and Brandon Stark.
Pretty small number of wagons to be all the food, right? It is supposed to last them through years of winter.
Qyburn had the skulls to test the scorpion’s strength on, but without a live dragon he’d have know way to know what sort of poison would even affect them.
Yeah, but Arya barely knows anything about Varys.

Yeah, I still think it’s messed up though. Even having it fully explained, imagine playing a game that involved you taking and having to give back money that might save a sick relative, or just relieve the pain your shitty shoes are giving your feet.
I think there is “male brain” / “female-brain” in the sense that a trained individual could look at thousands of brain scans and identify the sex of the patient with a higher success rate than pure guessing (not sure how much higher).
Not that we’d find evidence of them in particular, but that there was some sort of tool-making or significant agriculture/industry.
And of course the fact that there was no written language or long-term settlement until recently means that Lee’s whole “passing on the best part of ourselves” didn’t pan out.
