I guess conservatives just have to choose which tradition is more important: the tradition of having an Emperor, which goes back thousands of years, or the tradition of barring women from the throne, which goes back sixty years. Wonder which one they’ll pick?

Yeah...better than becoming east Hartford I guess. :P

Eastbury. They shut it down when the fancy new one opened though. :(

That’s my hometown! Suburban CT represent.

I’m in awe of how many hobbies you have.

My favorite part of the story is when the guy asks to borrow your phone after he mugged you.

And yeah, adding on another room might be a good solution.

Yeah, a house is a huge deal. I replied to polarbear if you’re interested in reading it.

That is fair. Ideally they’d be able to come to an agreement together. It’s a really important decision, after all, maybe the most important after their decision to have a kid together.

I agree that some people buy too much house. We’re not actually sure what this guy meant when he said ‘slumming it’. But again, that “some harpie” is this guy’s wife. Assuming he doesn’t want an immediate divorce, your advice is bad. And your low opinion of women shines through pretty clearly.

This is a married couple about to have a child deciding where their life together will be. They should both have input in this decision, neither of them should be “putting their foot down”. I can completely understand a woman with two children and a third on the way not wanting to ‘slum it’, who would?

I want to hear details about your triumph over the vendor.

I am closing on a house Friday! My city is a horrible housing market for buyers , but we found a great place and really lucked out. I’m so excited to be a homeowner!

Ok, so then the sentence becomes: “The Somali people had decided themselves that they were particularly concerned.”

I hate this guy, but was ‘Somalis’ the wrong term to use?

I already support immigrant rights. Telling me that a lot of them are paparazzi is not the right way to convince me of their value to this country.

Reminds me of the countless hours I spent watching the Disney Channel as a kid. 100% of the ads on that channel were for the Disney Channel.

I read that almost all mascara commercials use falsies because pretty much every ad featuring a woman has her in falsies. We’ve become so used to it that it barely registers, but if mascara ads were to stop doing it, they’d all have dramatically less impressive lashes than all the other ads around it in the magazine.

Nothing to be ashamed of, W&W has really upped their game in recent years.

Pretty sure you still have to pay, nothing has changed on that front yet.
