....Because the idea of Superman killing was too alien a concept for my 8 year old stupid mind to accept? Hell, I barely even understood just how much of an indiscriminate murderer Batman was in the movies back then either.

EDIT: I mean hell, you're how old now and still actually trying to argue that Superman tried to

Donner cut aside: I was probably like 8 years old when I saw Superman II for the first time and I assumed that they were frozen in cryostasis in the fortress of solitude. I mean....obviously Superman didn't kill them!!! Superman never kills!!!!

LOL:

"Yeah, there's a difference between deciding what's good writing for YOU, (and concurrently, according to YOU) in forming YOUR opinion (which you have every right to), versus deciding it for everyone else."

You're in denial I see. Whatever, its plain as day in the youtube clip for anyone to see even if you refuse to.

Now playing

You could at least youtube it so that you don't double down and look even more silly:

For the record: Superman only killed Zod in Superman II because Richard Lester is a hack who is not fit to lick the boots of Richard Donner, who (one admittedly epic line aside) is basically responsible for all the good parts of Superman II. Donner even filmed a scene of Superman handing the 3 over to the authorities

WRONG! Zod was the one who dragged Superman to Space, watch the movie.

.....Not sure if serious.

People who make the argument that Superman killed Zod and/or a bunch of other random characters at some point in canon and therefore its ok are, and I say this with absolute sincerity, the absolute worst form of geeks.
They are the kind of sheep who will blindly accept or allow any sort of character assassination or

Yes, I decide what's good writing. I elected myself to this position.

Reason: I have read a number of superman comics, enjoy the character and his history, have an internet connection, the ability to type, and an opinion I wish to voice. If that's too much for your myopic worldview and you can't handle it then leave

Simple: bad writing.

The fact that he has a long history doing it doesn't mean it wasn't a mistake, just that the writers have never learned from it.

No, he wasn't good. Sorry to disappoint you. At best he was probably good on a technical/execution level, which is not the same thing as having strong fundamentals.
I could maybe possibly believe he was good and just got randomed out by a button masher in the first match(flukes do happen, although even that's pushing

Then he just wasn't good, period. You and/or he just thought he was. Also how long was the game even out? You usually don't really start to see trully high level play for at least a few months since people actually have to learn to play the game.
Trust me, if that little kid tried button mashing against even a

You do realize only a percentage of Star Wars fans actually read the comics right?

As long as it lets me use a bow and arrow against machine gun wielding antagonists it can be set anywhere.

Haven't played 4 yet, but this is more or less the way I played 3. I basically role played it as Oliver queen going through his origin story.....one of my best gaming experiences in a while. Made that game a thousand times more fun.

Still don't like the concept, but that's both more functional and much much better looking.

Believe it or not there are actually some players, *great* players, who rock a keyboard for fighters on pc and console since its basically a budget hitbox. No reason not to allow cross platform beyond bureaucracy.
