There are no "other characters" there is only Arno. That's it. When you are playing in co-op you are playing as 4 assassins, but they are all Arnos (yeah, doesn't make much sense). There is no room for a female character.

Even than it wouldn't be too bad. It's not a problem to buy something from NA eshop on PS3. I actually buy only from there as the prices and deals are better than what EU eshop can offer.
