well a parka is a part of captain colds costume so i see no problem with that. and other than pied piper i don't remember anyone else wearing a hoodie. i think that makeshift costumes make sense at this point in the series, but as you said trickster is a step towards more outlandish costumes

i doubt the average viewer remembers the show 20 years old
