I really hope they don't use Merlyn as the big bad of season 3, maybe sometime later, but using him in season 3 seems somewhat early.

they posted another picture on DC and Flash facebook pages. i think the costume looks decent, it's a tv show after all, so we can't expect something over the top.
edit: now that i looked at it a bit longer, i think the suit could use some more yellow details to brake the red a bit

i doubt they'll deal with this case in the next season, because this show is planned as an anthology series, so new cast, new stories every season

cause regular promo is 20 secs, so 30 sec can be considered an expansion. + it's a 40 minute show, what more would you want

what works in comics doesnt need to work on tv screens, i can see why they're going for darker tones.
Also it just the suit for the pilot, a lot can change in later episodes/seasons
