Secret Invasion cost over $200M, and apart from the leads, it never looked better than Agents of SHIELD, so yeah, either that or colossal mismanagement on Marvel’s part.

That sounds like the system Wegmans uses, except you use their app rather than a hand scanner.
They got rid of the self scans at my local Walmart for a while and it was awful. They really do have the best self scans.
I really hate this narrative, and I see it pushed a lot on my google news feed. Every week there’s another article about the death of self check out or how much consumers hate it.
self-checkout has been a disaster for consumers
On the one hand, it’s nice to see a demonstration of just how wrong people are about “unskilled labor” being so simple, since it’s clear that most of them have an unreasonable amount of trouble figuring out how to scan groceries. On the other hand, as a person with functioning cognitive and motor skills, I love being…
Ok, now spend thousands of hours and millions of dollars to develop a new product. Then when you’re done, just give it away.
I don’t care that this movie is directed by a Woman (I was actually looking forward to Patty Jenkins’ “Rogue Squadron”-Film until it was cancelled) and I definately have nothing against a SW-Film which features a Female Main Character (“Rogue One” is my favourite SW-Film made since Disney took over, and my…
Says the idiot with no patents to his name.
So while I agree with you that JJ Abrams deserves a LOT of the credit for how bad those films are, I disagree in that he DOES get a lot of the flak for it. Everyone pretty much trashes what he did with those films.
quit fuckin lyin everyone hates abrams now theres plenty of blame to go around
It had some cool ideas but no I don’t like it. And I’m mighty sick of this “my opinion is the obvious correct opinion” shit places like this site take.
The common feature of these is that she barely had any creative control over them, she was a hired hand working for vastly more talented people.
We doing Disney apologetics now? Star wars has tanked in popularity since she took the helm, they can’t even sell toys for the Disney trilogy. She will always be the exec who was at the helm when ”somehow palpatine returned.... In fortnite” was the opening scrawl for the grand finale of the Skywalker saga.
You can’t really compare anything she’s done before being the president Lucasfilm to what she’s produced since. Right now, she’s the main input and output of anything Star Wars. For all the other examples you gave, she was only one of many people, with a very different kind of influence on the end product each time.
JJ Abrams will no doubt completely revise the origins of Star Fleet, particularly to remove any hints of utopian socialism from Earth that that period, and to make Star Fleet into generic badass American military guys.
How is this an issue when there are multiple FOSS options to replace it?
I think the series was Message From Space: Galactic Wars. I've seen a few episodes and it's pretty fun.
I’m a contrarian with WandaVision. I thought it started annoyingly got better in the middle and went off the deep end at the end. Full disclosure, I’m a MCU fanboy and I’m fine with both characters in the films but they both irritated the hell out of me in the show. I also think the TV imitations/tributes were…
Agents of SHIELD at 9th? That’s some weapons grade bullshit right there. You have to do better AV Club (again).
