I get you were bummed, John, after all you put a lot of work in it, but surprised? Really?

Like a gory, raunchy version of Mario Kart? Where do I sign?

What I don’t understand is why he doesn’t use a) that money he made to hire a ghost writer to finish the books for him.

Apparently Martin said he doesn’t want that and has dispositions to have his notes and material “burned”.

They could be rescued by a now adult Daria!! So many possibilities!! :D

If Rise of the Skywalker didn’t bomb... there’s no hope they’ll ever stop doing these.

I bet Obi will also encounter Asokha, the great absentee from the roginal trilogy by now. ;) And why not a cameo from Jedi Fallen order?? I bet those two are still around doing.. something. :D

Nice one.

Well, 15 bucks for a scoop of gelato... That’s theft right there so maybe.. ;)

You show ‘em, I look at ‘em!

Thanks.

Nope, but Smith promised a He-Man show. He was directly asked if this was going to have He-Man o Teela as main protagonist and he said “don’t you worry! This is not a Teela show!” and then he killed He-Man in the first episode.

Judging from the synopsis of the first five episode He-Man is only in the first one... maybe at the end of the fifth... so it’s basically the Teela show like many had feared.

We have become a society of “grown up” children intent on satisfying any need regardless of the actual necessity of it.

Yep... But you are trying to reason with a highly infantilized society where satisfying non necessary urges is basically considered an accolade.

Nope, it would not.

Does it matter? most of these buns are mostly very processed flour and a lot of added sugars... calling them all candy just saves time. :D

Yep. Same here.

Uhm.. This time I’m less convinced.. I hope we will not get a 5 episodes arc with the recovery of the sword and He-Man appearing only in the final part.

They mostly cannot even adapt it decently (Good Omens is basically the only really good adaptation around) I sincerily doubt they can make a sequel, even with Gaiman on board (his tv works are very hit and miss honestly).
