I never finished Pillars 1 (got stuck on the Adra Dragon playing Path of the Damned and refused to cheese w/ petrify) so I’m doing a proper play through with White March 1 and 2. Everything I’ve seen so far looks pretty good.

I was on board with Inuyashiki until that last plot point “dropped”. I’ve been wanting to read it but from what I saw the ending of the manga isn’t any better.

Personally I wouldn’t. Coming from a long time WoW veteran some aspect of FFXIV have a steep learning curve. There’s a LOT to do if you’re just starting out so completely skipping some of the starting content isn’t advised.

All I did so far was just fill in gaps in my main lineup with cheap skills. Seems funny that people are thinking the sky is falling with OP heroes when all those high level skills are going to cost 1.5x the 300, 400, or 500 SP they normally cost. HDMI Alt Mode was only recently approve as a standard while DisplayPort Alt Mode has been around since 2014. USB-C simply doesn’t support it until HDMI Alt Mode is implemented and has nothing to do with the resolution.

*Native* support. HDMI Alt Mode, which adds HDMI support without conversion, was only approved as a standard last September or around then.

USB-C does not natively support HDMI conversion, yet. The dock most likely contains hardware for DisplayPort to HDMI signal conversion.

Yea, going against an Effie is almost an instant loss for my squad. Only way I can deal with her is to save her till last and put a body between her and Kagero. I have a 5 Camilla so once she hits 40 I’ll swap her in for Cordelia, upgrade her to 5 stars for Galeforce, then switch out Chrom.

Running Chrom (5), Lucina (5), Cordellia (4), and Kagero (5). Kagero can one shot Takumi most of the time but may need Lucina’s aura to help out if not. Seems to work well.

Go with Awakening instead. Fates is good, but Awakening is better.
