I whole heartedly agree with this comment

Whether or not Americans can handle it is pretty irrelevant as Developers, publishers and Marketing companies have decided for you that you can't.

Gotta say the most annoying thing about this is the coining of Politic-sepak buzz words like "Ultra violence" and "Hyper Violence". Like, really?

Oh cool, first Kotaku started posting just about any story that mentions the word "Video game" and now it's just posting nonsense.

As someone who has had an active Planetside sub since 2003 I can say that this is total crap, I'm almost wondering if you even played the game past beta...I mean really. Alarm bells rang the moment you used the word "Class" in reference to the original planetside.

MAG Is childs play compared to even the original planetside, let alone Planetside 2.

They're talking about E3 which was Alpha footage not beta, but its a minor detail they've overlooked.

It's totally free to play, but I think they are considering a subscription service for people who want all the extra goodies (purely cosmetic things, of course)

Or planetside 3

Anything that effects gameplay is earned through collecting in game resources, real-money transactions cover cosmetic items and *possibly* exp bonuses (they've mentioned they're considering it) but they've stressed over and over again that they are being very careful to make sure that you cannot pay to win.

It makes BF3 look like 5 guys in a small room fighting over a toy tank.

Is it *really* #1? Care to give me some examples of that happening in a video game other than This tomb raider scene?

My Body and My Outfit are ready >:D

I don't see why it couldn't have been an attempted rape scene - It's meant to be a dark, gritty, mature take on Tomb Raider and the scene in question looked to have been done fairly well; it's not like a half naked guy was chasing her around screaming "IM GONNA FUCK YOU UP THE BUTT" whilst she scurries around in

Oh hey Kotaku, Why no mention of Planetside 2? That's a free to play MMOFPS that is looking fucking awesome. The Beta is going to start soon and you all but completely ignored it at E3!

I would personally love to see him step outside his comfort zone and, more to the point, release a new IP.

I actually quite liked this years E3, It wasn't full of amazing things but I wasn't disappointed with anything or bored either.

It was a little absurd but It wasn't sexist, Hell it wasn't even that sexy.

Everybody i've ever seen talk about the ads loves the Live action Advertisements and -none- of them feature Master chief for more than a few seconds, if at all. In the 15 minute live action ad directed by Neil Blomkamp Master Chief's entire involvement boiled down to "He was that big ball of fire in the sky"

I don't think the "unique" aspect of "Spec Ops : The Line" comes from the fact it's a modern day military shooter, All the previews i've read (including IGN's) imply that it's uniqueness comes from it's tone and how it influences player choice throughout the game without boiling it down to "Good/bad"
