I still think that people are overlooking the calls for fixing the factual errors in lieu of overstating the calls for just a plain old different ending.

I'm pretty sure that its not the same group of fans in both cases...
If you strip away the theories that attempt to explain the errors the errors still exist. I don't mind the ending from a plot or tone perspective either, but the factual errors, the contradictions with lore and the inconsistencies need to be addressed.
This.
There are so many people in this thread that don't understand that this isn't about the bleakness of the ending, its not about the tone or the plot of the ending, it's about factual errors.
Bethesda have already done this with the Broken Steel DLC, This would not set the precedent, the precedent has already been set.
Honestly I can't tell whether it's Bioware's Pride (people are naturally defensive about their own creations, whether criticism is justified or not) or EA's wallet that is blinding them.
Once again I must state this is not about Art, this is about Factual Errors.
regarding point 2 - I found that my character being a dumb-struck mute killed immersion entirely, and yes I did complain about there being no voice acting for the main character. I've paid money for a crafted entertainment experience, the "Use your imagination" argument is a pathetic excuse for lazy development and…
I personally doubt that they would retcon that much, that would cost them a LOT of money that couldn't entirely be recouped by DLC costs, but If they did i'm not entirely sure what my opinion would be on it. I imagine what they'll do is release some DLC which expands on the ending in a way similar to Dragon Age or…
SHHSHSHSHHHHH SHHHHUSH! Don't say that too loud! Do you know how much cognitive dissonance you will create if it gets out that a Publisher has made fans pay to alter the ending of a popular game before...and the fans Thanked them for it?!
From what I've heard of gamers complaints, its the exact opposite - People are upset that the ending effectively killed the entire series dead and not just Shepards story.
I found that there is no penalty for getting caught (beyond starting in the same cluster again) and where the assets are doesn't change...So you can go in, scan like crazy, find where everything is, get caught and you're effectively sent back in time 30 seconds with knowledge of exactly where to scan without any…

Beyond the fact that your explanation isn't an explanation I think you'll find its called Britain, That's what the "B" in "BAFTA" stands for; "Europe" has got exactly nothing to do with anything in these awards.
The sex scenes are awkward as hell but I think thats mostly down to sub-par animations and I don't think ANY Animation team (game or otherwise) has put together a non-awkward CG sex scene. Mostly, I believe, because the amount of little details required to make them not-awkward would mean a very talented, very well…
I meant more that they felt rubbish, rather than being underpowered, they felt clunky and they all felt pretty similar IMO.
I initially chose soldier in ME1 because the powers were, well, rubbish...and they didn't interest me. In ME2 I stayed soldier because I wanted to use the sniper rifle without being gimped by the infiltrator class, I would have been a Vanguard or Adept otherwise, but I was very happy when I gained "Slam" for my…
Wrex sounded the same (to me) in ME2, so if he was changed he clearly isn't doing as good a job as he was in ME2...he's much more high-pitched and whiny now.
