I'm pretty sure that Camp, family friendly sci-fi character "The Doctor" would be an awful addition to this gritty, M rated war story.

While it sucks that my pre-order is now useless and i've got to go get a refund (don't care about the £5 gift points thing, I won't be shopping in GAME any time soon) I didn't actually manage to snag a collectors edition for the 360 before it sold out.

Not true, A lot of online retailers have since seen a surplus of N7 360 versions come in, probably all the ones that would have went to GAME stores, I just ordered the N7 edition (for the 360) through Amazon.co.uk, something I couldn't do before this happened.

You know the lyrics play across the bottom right? So its actually impossible to lie, which you have just done, and get away with it.

I don't suppose you've actually heard of Dead Island then?

The guys at Bioware have stated that there is a "Bad" ending where you fail to defeat the reapers.

I kinda wish it had stopped after the roof too, "Shepard" running around like a lunatic, on his own, looked kinda stupid.

Gotta say, I don't it's "That" bad. I mean, when was the last time an FPS had a poignant title which wasn't at all there just to sound cool/dramatic/pew-pew-pew! ?

Hopefully, it will remain true for a good while yet - I do doubt that game companies could get away with releasing a game which doesn't make *any* sense without DLC (that would be the only time where DLC isn't optional).

The full game, as found on the disc, is the full experience; DLC, in my view, is always bonus material for those who want a little bit extra.

I like how she captured Lana Del Rey's "lifeless corspe" chique.

Great...Kotaku is a personal blog for its employees now too.

I agree, FarCry2 was boring as old balls, I desperately tried to get through more than a few hours multiple times but it is just terrible. The missions are all the same, the enemies are all the same, Driving is tedious and there is no semblance of a plot.

Finally a game with a really good Antagonist. I'm going to enjoy hunting him.

And just because you're a fan doesn't mean we should either. Like I said, Not EVERY book needs to be a film, or a game, or a TV series, and seeing as Dune has not been much more than a cult classic for a long time, and has *had* numerous properties including films, TV series' and games based after it (Which were all

Eh...I'll pass thanks. I like Sci-fi but Dune always bored the hell out of me, the film, the TV series's, the games...all really fucking dull, Couldn't even make it through one Dune book I was so bored.

I agree a whole fucking lot with this, Physics in games have been sorely overlooked, I mean the complexity of Physics in games is still lazily hanging around with Ragdolls and animation trickery.

Now playing

we'll probably get music like this in ME3

Clint Mansel is doing the score, and if it is anything like the MOON OST it will be never ending soundtrack of Modern Classics. This, however, Is Two steps from Hell who are also damn fine composers and producers of music.

Yes he does, you get a "Retry" I believe, plus some info about "The Event".
