I’ve been playing online just as long, but PUBG is (or was, anyway) the worst I’ve seen. It’s not the competitive nature, it’s the fact that you can earn real money with crate contents, so it incentivizes people to cheat. 

I thought it was pretty sloppy. It didn’t help that they used a long wide shot at the beginning, you can hide sloppy choreography with fast cuts. There’s a lot of awkward, slow, unnecessary spinning.

Trust me, PUBG cheats don’t need advertising.

Saw them at Bonnaroo in 2012, it was the best damn show I’ve ever seen.
