It’s sort of hilarious how much Gizmodo shits on Reddit despite getting 75% of their content from the front page.

Hell, I was looking around for a UHD BluRay player and at the prices they’re still at I might as well just get an Xbox One

The fact that Pixel Buds made it on the “worst gadgets of the year” list is kind of a joke. It’s by no means all that great, but it’s a far cry from “worst”. Sound quality is good, using it with Google Assistant is actually really responsive and quick. It’s just a slightly over priced bluetooth set of earbuds.

That

And honestly I think that’s fine. I own several Google Homes, and I find them very useful. I get that they’re saving data, and for me that’s okay. I think so far Google has been really transparent about it. You can go to your profile, see all the requests they’ve saved, chose to delete certain days/phrases/etc, or opt

Yep, that’s what I was talking about, your car radio. Really good point.

As opposed to...literally everything else you do in your life?

I get the plan for the decoy. But when you’re literally watching every ship your decoying for getting picked off, you aren’t really acting like a decoy anymore, are you?

All your points about there being any sort of consideration for giving the escape ships time to get a safe distance don’t make any sense. It’s very

Not a great solution, especially for people like me. I travel for work a lot, and hotel TV sucks. I login to all my streaming accounts from all over the place.

How exactly do you know how much payload a Y-Wing can carry?

And if that was a lesson in the film, it was a stupid fucking lesson, in the very next scene Luke sacrifices himself and saves the day. A lot of contradictions in that movie.

Yeah, in fact it made so much sense you’d have to wonder “who the fuck would actually build and use these things?” They were giant slow moving targets that contained tons of explosives, that for some reason has to activate their entire payload BEFORE dropping them. Bring back Y-Wings.

It absolutely was an option the entire time. She already knew she was going down with the ship (for some reason), so she didn’t even have to come to terms with dying, she already made that choice. Ships jump to light speed all the time close to each other, literally no reason for them to get further away.

She sat

Really liked YT TV, but the girlfriend requires a Roku App. Until then we’ll continue with Playstation Vue (which I hate).

I have major problems with your post. For one, there are different burdens of proof for different types of crime. So we literally never have to change “innocent until proven guilty”, we just need to adjust the burden. Secondly, there are women who have lied about this type of crime, one just made the news recently.

At what point do you just cut the fucking tree down? Clearly you don’t care about the nature aspect of it, since you essentially booby-trapped the whole thing. Ascetically it looks terrible, just cut the fucker down.

It was definitely very cool and memorable, but if that was always an option, I’m not sure why she waited so long...

I don’t think the main complaint is that she did it, I think the main complaint is looked absolutely ridiculous.

Haha nice list. Hey remember how the old trilogy movies are actually watchable though?

If you’re in a ship, moving slowly from another giant ship actively shooting at you, waiting for your fuel to run out, would you be okay with not having any idea if there’s a plan to get out of the situation? “Oh no one’s mentioned anything, but I’m sure they’ll think of something. Anyone know how to play Euchre?”

The big difference is that in this instance, there is a big gap in time between ROTJ and TFA, and it’s not unreasonable to wonder what the fuck actually happened in that time period. The Empire managed to pull it’s shit together yet again, for some reason changed their name, and there’s a new Sith lord in command.

Man, I get TLJ being divisive. I absolutely hated it, but there are elements of a good movie in there, so I get why some people enjoyed it. But being in the top ten movies of the year blows my fucking mind. Did we watch the same movie?
