That TP-Link is a good buy at 45 bucks, I bought around Feb. at $60. Really good router.

Man, one negative Apple review and you get all butthurt.

At least I’m not the only one who thinks so. I mean, my Google Home is no beauty, but the HomePod made me cringe when I first saw it.

I use my Home pretty often. Mostly for basic stuff (what’s the weather? How’s traffic?) music. It’s a decent speaker.

I can’t speak to the HomePod, but when I talk to my Google Home and my phone is in earshot, it still turns on, but then displays a message “Answering on separate device” when it detects that my Home is responding. I imagine this only works while they’re both on the same network, if I turned wifi off on my phone I

What about Louis CK?

Oh he doesn’t owe us anything? I’d argue the money I spent on all his books up til this point means he owes me an ending. It’s beyond ridiculous that he hasn’t finished yet.

That video is super fake. It doesn’t even look right at full speed, let alone when you pause it.

There are countless ways to prevent it from “cheating”. Cut the video short, or tell it to only analyze certain frames of the video, for example.

Reminded me of this music video: The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar

Pretty much just my phone (though I also have a type-a to type-c cord as well, so it doesn’t really matter). I think the point is that if manufacturers don’t start putting type-c in their products, peripheral makers aren’t going to switch over.

“Mac still just works in a way that PCs don’t.”

Your Pixel review is downright pathetic. Hands down best phone I’ve ever owned. You glossed over the amazing camera and how great a pure android phone is. The S8 is better? Well it should be, it’s 6 months newer. Assistant is bad? Yet you don’t mention fucking “Bixby” on the S8 that barely functions? Assistant

Was wondering the same thing. Would test it but I sold my Wii U yesterday ...

There are reasons they can’t, actually. For one there are moving parts (fans) in the Switch. One good drop or bangup and it’s done for.

Can anyone explain what Samsung’s angle is for trying to develop all these services that are vastly inferior to Googles? I at least sort of understand trying to develop a digital wallet app, I’m assuming they get a little piece of every transaction. But what’s the point in Bixby?

If you liked King of Tokyo, I highly recommend King of New York. Same basic game but with more depth and strategy. Not quite as “pick up and go” friendly as KoT but it adds some cool stuff if the original gets too dry.

It’s pretty good, it’s also a solid gateway drug into those types of board games.

I think that’s a pretty snobby comparison...

I thought it was a weird statement too, however maybe she didn’t want to enrage him further, causing him to harm more people. She’s probably scared for her own life too (though I’d hope she was being protected by police at this point).
