@The Squid: I do the opposite. If the price difference is only 5 bucks I just buy my own shiny new copy.

It sounds like the publishers are acting like greedy whiners. Do car manufacturers complain because people are buying used cars?

@OddManOut: To be fair, you can play steam games without connecting to the internet. Once your game is downloaded, you can launch steam in offline mode.

@TheHeeyyy: Great idea. This would be perfect for the Black Ops review as it seemed to focus far too much on the singleplayer.

@screemname: When I first played that level, I was disturbed and avoided shooting anyone (until I was fired at). However, as the shock slowly faded it wasn't as big an issue. During my second playthrough, I didn't hesitate at shooting the civilians, but still felt uneasy about it.

@Nibel: I found Fable II to be very disappointing. To this day, it is the only game I've ever sold back. That's not to say it was a "bad" game, but I don't feel it deserved such positive reviews.

@Jurai: My first thought too.

I was never a fan of the Halo series, but it's really great to see a franchise go out on a high note with its dignity intact. Hopefully Microsoft won't fuck it up.

@JabbaB: I actually prefer the current look, but will reserve judgement until I see it on my own TV.

@JabbaB: Did you read the article? He didn't quit just to play video games; he was suffering from depression.

Finally! We now actually have a legitimate digital content alternative to pirating.
