I don't understand that thought process... arent we finding planets like Earth on a weekly basis now? The idea that aliens want to conquer us for a resources seems stupid and non economical (haha) for them. Why not just go an uninhabited Earth-like planet and get your resources there... No massive army or battleships…

man, i wonder if all action movies can be summed up in 3 minutes... cause i watched that and it seemed to have a more solid plot than most action movies these days, not to mention it skipped all the boring parts

Anyone who actually played the game would know its nothing alike but in name. I played about halfway through DS1 and dont remember any of the plot.
