Because they didnt make the MT on the 2016 model when I bought it. The tranny in my SI was about to shit the bed and the MT were about 9 months out so I traded out of it into this.

I am running the +6 psi high octane tune from them on my CVT and man that thing moves now. I am actually switching to the Ktuner version soon to get more control, they even have a boost by gear for CVTs and boost target dampening levels. Going to be fun. And yes I’ve got money set aside for when I trash my CVT.....

you have the 2.0 or 1.5t? It wont even be close to the same car though. Its totally a track car built to be on the street. It wont drive like anything resembling the ex-t i currently drive. I had an 8th SI, and it drove completely different than the ex i test drove before I bought the SI

easiest fix ever, direct the tailpipes away from the grandstands, and force them out the back or towards the infield. I know fans are down there too, but the infield fans are generally so hammered they cant conversate anyhow
