So was this “discrimation” truly based on their race, or could it be because of credit history?

I do agree with the no driving in the left lane. That is a law that every state should have and start ticketing people all of the time.

IMHO I believe that some of the backmarker teams are running with the dream that they may eventually get that big break in a few years and actually become the next Hendrick, RCR, etc.

I love the movie, but found it funny that he speaks with Big and Little Enos and goes out to get the car all in one day and even has time to get custom plates made for it! 

Totally agree. No matter who they picked in a remake to play these parts, there is no way that they could come anywhere near how good Gleason, Reynolds, Reed, etc. were!

Oh God, I never miss this movie when it is on. First saw it in the theater when it came out and have probably seen it hundreds, if not thousands, of times since. I can say almost every line in the movie.

Yeah I would be curious to see how the news got out. Always question when celebrities do something good and then run to the media. Kind of like when the news got out a couple of weeks ago about Oprah giving the big tip to the maid at the hotel.

I was going to mention this also. Was in Germany a few years ago with family and regretted that we did not stop to look, even though we drove right by Sinsheim! 

There are things that you can complain about Trump with, but this isn’t it. If you read up on this project, it has been going around now for about 7 years. Originally, the cost was $ 13 Billion and it has already ballooned to $ 30 Billion.

Unless these people bought a car specifically to do Uber or Lyft, then they would already be having expenses of auto insurance, fuel and repairs. Did this study just consider the additional costs of these items related to them driving more or did they take the full amount?

Don’t think that anyone is holding a gun to these people’s head making them drive for Uber or Lyft...... 

Sounds to me like you almost need to have a college degree just to open your tailgate and operate it properly! All I can think of is how there are so many more parts now that can break.
