My BIL is friends with the attorney. He only handles auto liability cases like this. He has won some pretty big judgements again many of the car makers.
I can understand fining someone who leaves their car in the parking lot for several hours and goes elsewhere, but fining a customer who is currently in your restaurant eating? Good way to run off customers!
If you really want to see these where they are definitely aimed for, go to any big rodeo, horse event (cutting horse, horse show, etc.) You will see a lot of these, which are used to pull horse trailers costing in excess of $ 100,000 hauling horses which could be worth $ 100,000 or more each. If they aren’t driving…
I remember that there was a reality show a few years ago that I saw that followed some of the Philly tow companies. The way that they handled that seemed totally unsafe and I was surprised the city allowed it.
But you would think that he would at least stop and use his lights for a moment to avoid another accident!
He was probably some independent videographer who was more interested in getting an exciting video to sell!
Several questions about this....
I was laid off from an office job one time and actually tried car sales. I spent about a month doing it before I realized that it wasn’t for me. The hours are very long. There are many nights I didn’t leave until 10:00 p.m. or later, after being there all day. We worked every Saturday no question about it.
Not an expert, but I would imagine that it would be the continued submersion that would hurt it. It can probably stand a momentary immersion.
IMHO GM is stupid in having both Chevy trucks and GMC. They have created their own competition, something which no other car maker does. GM should have shut down GMC years ago. The only difference is the logo that is on the grill and nothing else.
I think that this truly is the biggest obstacle to internet sales. I, like you and many others, would want to be able to touch, sit in and drive a car before I spend that much on it. I am not buying a shirt.
Several churches in our area that still use these vans have actually had the rear wheels converted to dual wheels. It actually looks pretty clean.
The best solution to this entire thing is for NASCAR to have a traveling safety team at all races. Have the same crew the entire year with NASCAR-owned equipment, just like IndyCar does. That way, you are not depending on location volunteers etc. to handle the safety.
To be fair, I would be interested to see how this compares to previous administrations. I know that most recent administrations have handed these out to their biggest donors, not to someone with the best qualifications for the position.
A lot of this “hate” as you call it comes from the fact that her record in NASCAR (or IndyCar for that) didn’t merit all of the attention that she garnered. She was known more for her bikini shots and Go Daddy ads.
Same here! Small town guy who is about ready to get out.
You must live near me then! HamNo would hate it because it is growing so much due to all of the businesses moving into the area!
Hate to mess up your rant, but this is not a stadium deal. These have been going on forever and they actually make sense. Whatever city Amazon locates in will see a lot more employees paying payroll taxes. These employees will go out and buy houses, cars, boats, etc., thereby generating even more taxes for the…
Shhh....
