Unless there were multiple helicopters, then this is not from Airwolf. After the show ended, the helicopter was sold to someone in Germany and used as an ambulance. It crashed and killed everyone onboard.

I would say that it is probably a liability issue. The shop knows that the rotors need repair from the accident. They can’t do a half-way repair and let her back on the road because you know if something happens, she would file a huge lawsuit against the shop.

I remember going to a tractor pull here in Fort Worth in about 1979. One of the tractors actually exploded and took the driver’s arm off. We were in the top level of the arena and had a piece of metal from the tractor land in our lap.

As someone who has been t-boned by a red light runner, I can testify to this. I was driving an F-150 and got t-boned by a man driving a Chevy 2500 truck. Luckily, he only hit me in the bed of my truck and not the cab. If he had, then I would have definitely gotten an ambulance ride out of the experience.

Went to HS in Texas in the late 80s. Mostly, it was pickups, as you can imagine. Had one friend whose parents were local businessmen. He had an IROC Z, a custom Chevy dually truck and sometimes he would drive an old 2-ton Chevy truck with no bed that belonged to his parent’s company.
