Thought the exact same thing. (Rolls back) pschah! Amateur hour!

They look quite German...in a “happiness adds weight and lowers performance!” type of way.

Does Evans look like a crazed beaver to anyone else?

My child's first car will be a manual. Try texting while you drive that thing!

I’ve driven in Italy before...it demands all of your attention unlike here in the states. Everyone thinks the Italians are crazy drivers, but they’re quite good - just quick and the roads are rather small.

Rule #1. Don't climb something (with one wheel) higher than your max articulation. Maybe it'll work but it's usually a bad idea.

FA smirked and said you should just get off? This didn't happen to be a United flight did it?

Um...seismographs don't lie.

There’s a seat waiting for you at the nearest Trump rally, comrade.

Timely article for me too. Doing grad school part time, new job that’s ratcheted up quite badly (early mornings/late nights) and sig other lives two time zones away prompting late night conversations. I’ve noticed trouble with memory more often lately (can’t tell what was real/dream...seems all nifty when watching

Preeeetty sure our Nigerian astronaut friend wouldn’t really want to come back to earth after all those years - might have some bone and heart issues after that long in space...just sayin’.

Trust me, I ran through the rules, she promptly forgot them. Even though I knew it wasn’t loaded it’s still just instinctively terrifying (which is a good thing - that military school training obviously settled in!) Needless to say there was no more handling of firearms for her after that :)

Agreed on the 1989 changes. I have an ‘87 and am still fascinated that it has a “smuggler’s box” in the trunk. Mine is now empty (used to hold AC components), but that little hatch was originally designed to hold a gas fired heater back in the ‘60s. Pretty wild it’s still there on an ‘87. Great heritage on these cars

And side note, the polished intake in the lower part of that picture above drives me nuts. It should be painted a dimpled grey color.

Assuming the picture above is a LHD car, look on the valve cover, just forward of the intake manifold, before you get the power steering pump and you’ll see a small “Jag” surrounded by a rectangularish shape. The full badge actually says Jaguar but it’s obscured. It’s way easier to see on the carbureted models as they

The carb linkage near the back is a dead giveaway and you can just BARELY see the Jaguar badge on the manifold in the front left of the engine. It’s also the only engine I know of with honestly those many hoses and that LONG. Tons of little cylinders - almost same displacement as the early straight sixes.

Totally agree. Doesn’t need to be scary, but you DO need a healthy respect for the tool. I think that’s the OP’s point is that many people, when give a firearm would have no idea about proper gun safety.

Very good point. This is also where the duct tape comes in handy for abrasions. Better yet, tenacious tape or rip stop sail repair tape.

It's the only thing that could have that many vacuum hoses.
