Yep. That’s why I used the word. When you insult someone’s intelligence without giving a counterpoint, that’s being a troll. Now, to my point, if I were looking for a reasonably comfortably, hot hatch with a lot of go and had the choice between the two, unless I had a hard-on for massive torque, I’d probably choose

There’s also some irony to them accepting an ID issued by a state DMV and rejecting a more secure form of ID issued by DHS (their bosses, literally).

Yep. You’re absolutely right. I’ve found it helps to bring a copy of the TSA webpage section in question if you think you may have trouble and ask for a supervisor if you get pushback on something. Sometimes that still won’t work, but showing that you’re more prepared than they are and know your stuff generally helps.

Might I recommend going for Global Entry through US Customs? Only $15 more ($100 total), lasts for 5 years AND gets you expedited access through customs. (Bonus land: the ID card they give you is an enhanced ID that you can use if your state gov’t were idiots and didn’t figure out the whole Real ID thing).

I would challenge your rather troglodytic comment. It's a matter of priorities and perspective, not intelligence.

Yes and no. They’re trying to increase their territorial claims, which is invalid under UNCLOS and can be dealt with by “ignoring” the “islands.” But what I think Tyler is talking about is more of a strategic problem. While you can ignore their territorial claims, you can’t ignore a fighter presence or air defense

Meh, don’t get too pissed. we’re happy to let the coast crowd fly over Minneapolis, makes it easier to get into new restaurants here :)

A surprising amount of that video WASN’T filmed in Oakland. I’m impressed.

My wife and I looked into this carefully before we tied the knot. All I can caution is to see both a financial advisor and attorney if you’re concerned about it as it varies significantly from state to state and can be very complicated based on asset or liability type.

The suckers just grow wild on the side of the road in some places too. I saw some last time I was on Maui. Kind of amusing to see with how wildly dangerous it is.

You nailed it here. It would cost a lot to rebuild and would be hard to find the parts, but if you can’t figure out the history of the chassis you’ve got nothing to start with.

Is that a dead animal?

I reco grabbing a silicone pancake ring from Amazon (about $7). Heat pan to about 200F, light spray of non-stick and place the silicone ring on it. Let sit for about 15 sec to let the oil wick against the ring (to prevent the egg from leaking out), then break egg into ring and break yolk as described. I add about a

I love the ever-changing combo of wheels, hoods, and rear decklids throughout the video.

I just wrapped up a road trip from Tangier to Essouira. It was a blast (but not for the faint of heart). Shoot me a note if you need any tips. Happy to help!

Wife and I have been driving it for the last 7 mos since we moved out there. Agree that summer is too busy. Late fall has been my favorite so far. Section from Marin to Ft Bragg is the best bang for your buck if you're looking for twisties in my opinion. Enjoy!

Is that the section near Big Sur? Beautiful road.

Yes, it’s part of being able to lob law bombs.

I’d say it’s low-flying too. Is there a lake nearby?

Good to know, but trust me, by the time you make it to that menu in settings it’s probably thrown 10+ notifications at you. It’s rather persistent. Does its job well.
