Oh, Adam Sandler. I grew up on Happy Gillmore, Billy Madison, and Little Nicky. It’s sad that he’s such a creepy hack now. He really didn’t bother to update his style at all. The man baby act has gotten so old. He can actually act, too. Punch Drunk Love was great and the early comedy he did was really influential :/

Oh.

Wait... what’s wrong with lemonade? What else do you call it??

Might be. I haven’t looked in depth at why I know people in the medical field who can’t find work, I was just pointing out to that person that there is no guarantee of work for any degree.

Yeah, me too. I graduated in 2009. There was nothing left even in major cities for my field.

Housing. My very specialized degree has a lot to do with housing. I went in during the housing boom, graduated after the bubble burst. I do like your implication that I couldn’t possibly know what I’m talking about since I clearly want to be a victim, though.

Yes, they have law degrees and MDs and no, there aren’t tons of opportunities for lawyers or doctors.

GFY? So glad you were one of the few eighteen year olds who happened to choose well. My friends who went into law and medicine are struggling just as much as my friends with liberal arts degrees.

Can we add surrogate fathers, too? Because Bobby Singer is the father the Supernatural boys deserved.

You’d think by now that Baby Boomers would know that Millennials all got screwed by the “go to college, get a job worth having” mentality. Now we’re all working shit jobs that don’t cover the bills much less the student loans.

My mom once sat me down to talk about the demons I was “inviting into my life” by reading horror books and watching movies like A Clockwork Orange. She’s never been the type to talk about demons before or since. It was so weird. I figure she must have read some Christian Woman’s magazine article or other and got stuck

Lol, a guy did this to me once and I’ve got plain old brown eyes. Definitely not something that someone would pay to have. It was weird and so obviously rehearsed.

“It’s too bad you couldn’t get into a sorority. Those girls don’t know what they’re missing!”

These thieves are just living their best lives.

Yoko Ono never fails to make me smile. Not even in a patronizing way. I just love that so much weird and confident can exist in one person.

If you were to ask any of the various professionals who have cared for my health in one way or another throughout my life, I doubt any of them would say that I look pulled together. Why? Because who the fuck dresses up for a therapy session? I look like I am in the middle of running errands because I am. Bank, doc

I really felt like my health became a public issue. My mother in law was furious that I wouldn’t update her after every appointment. I finally told her that I would call her if anything came up that I felt she needed to know. Spoiler alert: nothing ever came up.

Ok, I do take good care of my nails (as in I keep them trimmed neatly and my cuticles nice) and wear sunscreen (because I burn like forgotten toast) but the rest of that... oy. If you want to wear shimmer or whatever because it makes you feel good, go for it! Otherwise, no. No one owes the world a full face of makeup.

What bothers me most isn’t the judgement, it’s the insistance that I’m willfully harming my baby. I can’t get any clear answers on so many subjects. It’s hard to make an informed decision about things like drinking while breastfeeding, tattoos, and whatever else. No experts agree. No doctors agree. So many are so

That is exaclty the subtext. Your body is going to change - and don’t you be selfish enough to mourn your lost figure!! - but don’t just let everything go!
