Kotaku covered this a month or so ago:

@wjbean: My iPad was a 64GB 3G, which is why its $419, Apple charges only $320 for the 16GB iPad. Its the same screen and LCD but this is how Apple charges.

"Ashai is Japan's biggest glassmaker"

@3Djesus- Esq. provocateur: Coming up with a name for a product usually means spending hours in front of a computer searching for what names have already been trade marked.

@Tuor_of_Gondolin: They don't, and the Japanese didn't like it either. It was an incredibly unpopular decision.

@SegFault: All these disputes have existed for a very long time, its only recently, with a rise the wealth and influence of China, that China started asserting these claims.

@SegFault: NPR also has a wonderful interview with one of the world's leading martime law experts on the subject.

@SegFault: Its been in the news recently. It was the central topic at the APEC meetings a couple months ago.

@Brian Ashcraft: It did violate the Japanese constitution, which is why Koizumi had to change it so that Japan could send the SDF to Iraq:

"However, that hasn't stopped the SDF from being deployed in, say, Iraq."

@Ero_Elohim: Any equivalency of processing power is completely relative. So comparisons of raw processing power is near irrelevant, the goal is to have a fair level of equivalency relative to the output format (a small ~4" screen or an HDTV).

@Ero_Elohim: It makes sense from the perspective development.

PSP2 is rumored to be near the power of the Xbox360 and PS3 (via equivalence of a smaller screen and bunch of effects turned off)

Looks good to me for an A-segment car, doesn't have the extreme wedge proportions of a Yaris, Fit, and Fiesta with the overtly slopped windshield. More rounded in proportions akin to a Audi A1.

Toyota did show the GAZOO Racing Lexus LFA, IS-F CCR, and the ISF Club along with these cars at the Tokyo Auto Salon. They even had an awesome twin-EV version of the classic Toyota S800.

A benefit I could imagine is that by keeping the tower away from the monitor you can keep the room quiet. GTX460 is a decent enough for a gaming rig, and I don't like my tower in the bedroom (or any area where I want to keep quiet) because I don't like the sound of the fans running. Since I have my computer running

@Keith Whistler: Service in Japan is usually exceptional. This is surprising being that there is no tipping.

@TanyaRei: Seriously, Tanya. I mentioned the USB Flash workaround on my first post.

@TanyaRei: I'm guessing you actually don't use PS3 Linux AT ALL since you are quoting N4G articles and not talking from experience.
