I have a hard time taking any dev seriously when their argument is “living in the Bay Area is expensive”.

I’m a veteran game developer, all of this is true, except the DLC stuff, that is utter and complete bullshit. Day one DLCs are deliberate attempts to juice an extra couple bucks from the consumer and is absolutely not developed post “Gold Master”, any one who says otherwise is a complete liar.
