I don’t know about you, but watching a victim of domestic violence escape, only to face even worse abuse by her abuser, is not my idea of a good horror movie. In fact, it’s really gross and a bit shocking considering the times we’re in. Domestic violence needs to be treated seriously, not as a premise for a horror…

This is a movie about a woman who flees domestic violence, only to be further abused by the same man, only now he’s even more abusive. It seems utterly tone deaf to me.
