It’s worth it for the Cannavale. Not a huge Roberts fan either. I don’t think she’s a very good actress. Not awful, just very limited. Keener would have made this perfect. 

Wish it were Keener, but Cannavale is superb!

Melania is awful. I had the tiniest bit of patience for her until she said in an interview that her anti-bullying “campaign” (BE BEST!!!!!) was all about her because she is the most bullied person on earth. I can’t even with these people...please God, let them be gone in 2020, if not sooner...

Beyond the music, I find that the overall sound in Homecoming is used very effectively. I first noticed how they make the voice of Cannavale over the phone to Roberts sound like he’s on a phone, even when we’re with him in person. It makes the calls sort of unreliable, like a memory. 

The OG of this genre is “the Net” with Sandra Bullock. Terrible reviews but loved the premise of the movie.
