That’s funny, the Kiryu I’ve come to know would (if forced/requested to have such a haircut) wear it with gusto, showing no qualms or embarrassment or discomfort despite such an awkward do.

An acceptable answer! :D

I think it’s pretty easy to know if a game is going to bomb if you just pay attention in the weeks following its initial release. Like Monster Hunter World for example, that sold bucket loads so would’ve been a safe online game to jump into after waiting and seeing for a month.

Okay but how far did you make it in Dr Strange 2?

I was thinking the same, but I’d forgotten about number 2 on the list. That was actually a movie, good times.

Shouldn’t really give a company like this airtime/attention. Just a friendly reminder that rapists should have their skin flayed alive and then be burned to death.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a single interaction with the man, but I still appreciated him. He seemed cool and I’m sad to see him go, hope he enjoyed his life and got to achieve the things he wanted to!

Just saw it today and can’t remember a time I saw a better movie?

Finally saw it myself today and can confirm I cried A LOT!

Don’t think I’ve seen a better explanation for what logically should be the requirements for each of the Re___ definitions. Well written.

It worked like that for the reverse kinds of people too (those that DID like the 2006 Prey, given all its unique game mechanics and stuff). In my experience those people avoided this game because they knew it had nothing to do with the Prey they liked.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that was my take away too. It was hardly the most unique story (up until that ending), but the main character writing was pretty good and those best-hits-of-zombie-lit moments were fun to play at least.

I’ve still not got round to playing the second game yet (maybe when it’s on PC one day), but that’s sad to hear. I felt the first tread the line pretty well. Ty Bruce if your theory is correct then!

Cannibals are pretty common, desperation too, though I don’t remember any rape scenes or near-rape, that WOULD have resorted in me maybe saying yeah it’s a pretty dark (I’m not a fan of rape, nor do I think anyone who isn’t having fun with sex roleplay and/or porn fantasies should be).

Granted it’s been (9?!) years since I played it, but it was hardly the darkest and most bleak tale out there.

Me as a kid: “One day, I’m going to own every game console made.”

Thankfully that’s not every fantasy thing ever, but unthankfully (that’s a word now) you are correct in that it is basically 80% of the fantasy things that get translated to screen.

If you ever use the starting phrase “__’s a feminist (...)” for your sentence, with the implication that feminism is somehow a bad thing, you’ve immediately entered people-are-going-to-laugh-at-you territory with your comment.
