Okay, I think Kinja just ate my comment, but what I wanted to say is that I really hope this lookbook prompts other major brands to go for a similarly realistic casting in their next campaigns.

These photos are great. I sincerely hope this lookbook inspires other major stores to go with a similarly realistic casting process for their next campaign.

I saw a guy on the subway with a small child and I could have sworn it was Ike Barinholtz. Good thing I didn't go up to him—that would have been super embarrassing. Congrats to Ike and his wife Erica! Let it also be said that he is consistently the best thing about The Mindy Project, shining even in mediocre episodes.

Pretty sure Nematzadeh and Ono cribbed this from Schiaparelli.

Confession: I do not see the big deal about Marc Jacobs at all. Whatsoever. I think his taste is bad. Same with Prada.

Agreed. Although I did subscribe to W for a few years when Stefano Tonchi first started due to the editorial content, as well as the shoots. I think the quality of the articles has gone way down. And the only time I ever bought a magazine for the cover was Michelle Obama.

I actually don't like this cover at all. I don't know if it's the lighting or the way her hair frames her face, but she looks strained. I do, however, love the pose and the dress.

I don't know! it's weird! I wrote for and edited my college's fashion blog and the men's fashion editor said my style reminded me of yours and it's one of the greatest compliments I've ever had in my life. Not to suck up—sorry. I'm just giddy you responded to me. :-O

This is brilliant. Also, apropos of nothing, Jenna, I had a dream last night that you wrote a gorgeous illustrated biography of Alexander McQueen and it was amazing. Hop to it!
