Honestly, I don't really know if there's truly a golden age. Sure, both FFVI and Chrono Trigger come out of the 16bit era, and they're two of the best of all time, but then games like Xenogears, Bravely Default, Xenoblade Chronicles, Breath of Fire 3 and 4, Lost Odyssey, and countless others have come out all across

Hopefully someone that can put his skills to good use grabs him. 343, Bethesda, Bioware, or Eidos would all be awesome

Talk about "knowing your target audience"

Technically, Zenigata, Fujiko, and Gordon are the only Japanese characters. Lupin is French and Jigen is American.

Zero Suit Samus was a post game thingy from Zero Mission, actually.

Easily the greatest Final Fantasy, and among the greatest RPGs of all time.

FFVI, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and Lunar 2 always sit at the top of my "Greatest RPGs of all time" List.

I was responding to the "Why'd you do it Double Fine?"

And Liberi Fatali from FFVIII is criminally under appreciated, if you ask me.

Dancing Mad anyone? One of the best villain themes in the series?

As a former GS employee, we just stopped letting people who behaved at all line this Pre-order games. There's no way the employees would let their numbers take a huge hit like this constantly, since being that I the Red on pre-orders Is a great way to get yourself canned.

Ahh, Asperger's. The internet's favorite "get away with stupid shit" mental disorder.

Hmm. Kitamura at the helm gives me hope, but I always have a problem with a Japanese actor as an insanely French character. Not to mention that, despite the very Japanese name, Jigen is actually an American in the comics/series.

Roommate got the PS3 version of this game. I've definitely been running into the framerate problem while exploring the town itself, and I've even seen it get much MUCH worse than in the video. I've had the game glitch out on me twice so far (First, I could do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING after perfectly blocking in the tutorial

I'd fund the f*ck out of an IGA fronted "Not Castlevania" Kickstarter.

Edgar's Chainsaw from FFVI, obviously.

Courtesy of a friend, I've found that once you start finding the European dubstep, quality improves drastically. I strongly recommend groups like Modestep (who actually play everything with a live band) and Nero (who are just awesome)

Apparently the bulk of American dubstep artists like Skrillex and such are classified

Check out Modestep. They primarily use live instruments and timing on drops and such tends to actually make sense. Nero is another excellent Dubstep group that uses the trademark drops and such to enhance and compliment rather than just make a lot of noise.

It's gotten to the point where I really can only play games like JRPGS on handhelds. My life can just be too hectic to not be able to pause, put the system in sleep mode, or whatever, But with a handheld I can still enjoy them in bite-sized parts. Got ten minutes to kill waiting for people for dinner? Progress a bit

The bigger screen is nice, it's also much brighter. Last I checked the XL also has better battery life than the original model. More comfortable on larger hands, but getting the 3D just right is a pain.
