They’d definitely call the film “Das Koks” in Germany.
I shall call my screenplay “Das Toot”.
I don’t have a screenplay, but if you don’t call it ‘20,000 Lines Under The Sea’, I’ll be very disappointed.

Regardless of the rest of the whole thing, Jackie’s father was awesome.
Kylo isn’t a Sith though, that’s actually a pretty big thematic point in the film. Kylo *wishes* he were a Sith. He wants so badly to be his grandfather and he. just. isn’t. He’s barely competent. He’s frightening because he has power that he doesn’t really know how to contain or use properly. He’s an overgrown child…

I read that sentence as [sarcastic] indictment of Vogue for paying lip-service to the idea of diversity, but then going ahead with white Alicia Vikander anyways.
Yeah, that picture was weird. On the one hand, Alicia has an olive complexion, and a commenter in that article said that they had seen her in person over the summer and she was very tanned and actually about the same shade that she was on the cover.
I mean, it took me 10 seconds to research the fact that she’s white. The author of an article that thousands of people may end up reading can be expected to do the same.
I’m kind of under the impression the author of this story doesn’t even realize Alicia Vikander is 100% white.
I looked her up and confirmed that she A) is fully white and B) looks nothing like the above picture. So maybe their strategy is to photoshop white women to make them look biracial?
I'm confused. I thought Alicia is white? Or her cover has nothing to do with being actually diverse? I'm definitely super tired, maybe I missed something.
I love TV. Way more than movies. In fact, half the time I watch a movie I think that if HBO turned it into a 10 part series it would be AMAZING where the movie felt rushed. I don’t like reality TV for the most part though, except the shows about real estate.
It really does seem so random!
