I guess I’m confused what the issue is here. Is it that mom’s are acting too “young”? Because last time I checked, Jezebel is usually anti-ageism. We’re not talking about moms partying with their 16-year-old daughters or anything. Just moms wanting to be apart of their ADULT daughters’ festivities, which we seem to

You don’t need to tell me... my friends who used to live here told me the rent was relatively cheap. Ha, no. Not anymore.

Just moved to Portland, fucking love it here. I come from Iowa where we have meth and corn... At least the hipsters bring affordable living - cause they broke - and cultural diversity with them.

It kills me so say this, but more people did die due to seatbelts — at least, in the few years immediately afterwards. Economists have empirically proven it. (Learning this fact was the most depressing law school class ever.)

Sorry you’re getting so much hate, dude. You are obviously not supporting the sentiment behind any of these “men’s rights” posters, and I agree that these campaigns do obfuscate some harmful issues affecting men that are also caused by institutions of patriarchy.

I couldn’t get over how striking Lena Dunham looked in her quick scenes. In a video full of super models, she was the only person I really wanted the video to spend more screentime on (besides Mariska and Ellen....obviously.)

I didn’t see anyone calling it bullying when she wrote songs about her male exes. I hope we aren’t more quick to label something “bullying” when the victim is a woman. (Is it the “girl on girl” dynamic that gives it a bullying vibe? I’m just trying to figure it out.)

I bet it happened. I’ve had much more ridiculous things occur during a job interview. To be honest, I thought this was one of the more believable scenarios.

You’re minimizing the achievement of a women because she’s associated herself with something feminine. And so what if it were pink? You are equating feminine with “omg, girlz power” and yet you imply they are the bad feminists. You’re the one spouting MRA-sounding bullshit.

Ha, winner via context. You had their back all along.

“I’m making this Hitler comparision...but I’m not making this Hitler comparison. Just saying.”

It’s an ironic name. Taking something stereotypically feminine-weak (dollhouses are associated with little girls, or women dolls) and subverting it into feminine-strong (through the films they’ll produce/stories they’ll tell.)

I literally just finished this burrito and now I’m depressed. I’LL TAKE MY IGNORANCE WITH A SIDE OF GUAC, DAMMIT.

Michael Cera!?!!! YES. Totally hit the nail on the head. YOU HAVE A GIFT. (Use it for good.)

I’m so disappointed that someone with the avatar name “HilaryClintonsMustyMeatCurtain” isn’t a touting pillar of feminism.

Milk milk, lemonade. Round corner...

Older? Psh. He can still get it.

So I know this isn’t going to happen, but it’s really a testament to Lena Headey’s acting skills and the show’s writing that I can’t help but route for Cersei. She seems more human and real than any other character.

Take your reasoning out of here!

She looks baller. (Let’s be real. That was thinly-veiled body shaming...)
