Ignoring the absurdity of asking such an accomplished woman about Botox, that was a pretty great response from the First Lady.

I've read that, but I'm not quite sure I see the relevance? Some, maybe most, people will relax into an atmosphere like that; other people are going to stay focused on the sad fact they're there because somebody died. If people honestly aren't allowed to look upset at memorial services anymore, the whole "celebration

Mrs. O is forever flawless.

1) I love Michele Obama. Do Not Mess With Her.

I love the lace shoulder cut-outs on Michelle's top.

Or Fox News who really gets such a hard on for any story that makes a stereotype of Michelle O.....hmm, I think the fellas over at Fox may have a repressed "thing" for FLOTUS lol.

I think it's in the eye of the beholder. Yes, she has a lot of privilege and power, but no one really knows the toll that the position she is in could be taking on her.

Agree. It's a funeral, and a solemn occasion.

It's a funeral taking place IN A STADIUM, so it's tacky already to begin with.

This is an excessively dumb thing to say. By this standard, the only people who can complain about anything, ever, are villagers being locked in shipping containers in the Sudanese desert by paramilitaries.

I concur. But I'd also like to bitch about my own personal pet peeve — taking redundant photos. We live in an era where copies of photos are literally infinite. Obama doesn't need his own personal photo, he could very easily get a million copies from basically everyone, including his own personal photographer. So why

All gossip aside… the funeral selfie thing is really weird, and it does seem really disrespectful to me. Like hey, we're here mourning (and celebrating the life of an amazing man), but lets take some smiling, happy photos of ourselves! Maybe I'm getting old, IDK.

It is depressing to live each day of your life, knowing you will never be as awesome as Michelle Obama, so I can see why people lash out, but really.

oh, goody: I come home from First Dress Rehearsal and get to talk about dress/costumes:

I loved that dress and the fit. Kind of this big, silly extravagance.

She's always dressed so totally on point and it's such a surprise that she's failed here.

Can we replace "Lean In" with "Do Whatever The Fuck You Want?"

Who specifically hated Laura Bush? I don't recall liberals calling her a fat Nazi who needs to go back to Africa or a shrill feminazi who wants to castrate every man, the way the last two Dem FLOTUS' have.

America tends not to tolerate women in positions of power unless we (and by we, I mean the subjective fraction of our population this applies to) agree with them 110%. And even then, they probably would receive more support if they had the decency to say those things while possessing a penis.
