I’d argue that in a situation when people are responding to tragedy and loss and an insane escalation in really intense hate speech (that targets people who look just like them and so quite literally terrifies them) all at once, that that’s needlessly simplifying a complex human reaction in a way…

My first comment on this article, addressing my shock at how quickly people made this about politics, does not equal my first reaction.

Oh I know *sigh*. At this point it’s more like screaming out into the heavens in frustration in that Twitter room where everyone is also screaming and no one is listening. All this grief and anxiety and fear and loss, there are better ways to handle it. But in the initial onslaught of just *trying to get information*…

I am leaving quite a few psychics in the grays who believe that they are calling me and others out for NOT CARING ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO DIED as much as I care about assholes on Twitter?! This is about asking for decency and not flagrant political rants while people are still lost. No no no nope no not falling for that…

God, it doesn’t even occur to you, sometimes, the new ways people can and do find to be fucking despicable. All these families freaking out, unable to find their loved ones...... it’s just making me sick. If there IS a hell, there had better be a special place in it for the sorts of people who get their jollies from…

Apparently many of the deaths so far seem to be from trampling? I don’t know for sure, but that is literally horrifying. Still many missing people, including a lot of youngins. Plenty of photos of missing people floating around Twitter so please get out there and retweet if you can and it looks legit, hug your babies…

Never seen so many assholes show up on twitter so fast. If you are gonna go on Twitter be ready to get slapped by a SERIOUS wave of racism and xenophobia. Be ready, be strong, conserve your energy, pick your battles and then those who go way too far - fucking let them have it. 

I can’t decide if the fact that She doesn’t just take Trump out in a glorious storm of fire and brimstone, handing us Pence instead, is evidence that God exists or that She doesn’t.
