Sorry to hear that!
Most people look at me like I have two heads when I say that I don't really care if I don't love my job as long as I don't hate it and dread going to work every morning. My passions are family and friends- I don't have a brain for science or numbers. My dream is to write, but given that I have to support myself…
Now the girl who is the prettiest girl in the room, who's got everything she wants, now knows what it's like to be a normal person. How's it feel?
Tyga, is that you?
You figure she's standing up for Kylie even if her sisters are too delusional or self-absorbed to do it. Grown ass men should not fuck children. She is a child. He is on some R. Kelly ish here. Someone should say something.
Only the Kardashians would be more concerned about people talking shit about them than the fact that a 17 year old is not going to school, getting plastic surgery on her lips, and fucking a 25 year old.
Plenty of women of color do identify as feminists and are working at making mainstream feminism more inclusive. Their efforts are the only reason I know as much about racial politics as I do, and for that I thank them.
Demanding that WOC acknowledge what [you think] feminism has done for them is really crappy, though. It's like you're demanding cookies for being decent, which is classic ally bullshit.
Honestly, I think it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for Nicki. If she said she was a feminist, there would be "She claims she's a feminist when she does XYZ!" articles. If she said she's not a feminist, there would be "How can any woman say she's not a feminist!?" articles. Not answering seems to…
Blaming technology a bit of a cop out that too many courts use- would it be illegal if this was done with a 35mm camera? Or a Polaroid instant? The "technology" of taking pictures isn't new, nor is the idea of sharing them. If the law doesn't make this illegal it isn't just because of technology, very often…
And let me guess, if I catch one of these assholes taking my picture and I kick him in the face with my heel, *I'm* getting arrested.
As a vegetarian, I don't think vegetarianism is classist but I do think there's subtle classism in acting like vegetarianism is a superior lifestyle. Eating a balanced vegetarian or vegan diet is more expensive and time-consuming than eating a balanced diet that includes meat. (For example, it rules out fast food.) I…
I love it when people compare the rights of human beings to those of animals and think it doesn't make them look completely fucking ridiculous.
I am a vegetarian. I don't bother mentioning it to most people, and I don't get preachy or soap-boxy about it. It's just a personal choice. I do know really preachy vegans though, and they get on my nerves. I also know stalwart meat-eaters, and they get on my nerves.
I'm vegan and I don't give a single fuck what other people eat. Hell, I'm married to a meat eater. I hope every other vegan can stop being a preachy shit aboutit and every meat eater can STFU about bacon and cheese when they find out that I'm vegan.
"You a pegga-sus!"
Sex w bra on, aka "The Carrie Bradshaw".
Susie Essman and Bob Balaban as Ilana's parents were EVERYTHING.
I love this show so goddamned much, I can't even say. Every aspect of this was handled beautifully and somehow managed to be both very relatable and hilariously absurd. I really did not expect the way the story went, especially not that (SPOILER ALERT) Abbi and Jeremy would be over so quickly. But again, so accurate,…
