You can’t just have your characters reset to zero after every single arc. How many times has the big break come, only to be foiled and they’re back in the house. Obviously there’s lots of humor in that but a moderate amount of success to at least shake up the plot lines and give the show a bit of fresh air would be

> she had her doctor’s letter certifying the rodent

I’m trying to understand this woman’s story but I just can’t. Read the article...she’s saying her friends and family were too far away...OK...sure...so you miss your flight / reschedule for the next day and miss your medical appointment and it sucks and it’s awful and *then* you sue and tell everyone that the check-in

I am not usually on the airlines’ side in general but I hope they break out their full-tackle lawyers for THIS bullshit.

Not every day you hear a story about Spirit Airlines in which they’re the only the *secondary* villain.

Did she flush a living hamster down the john? Am I reading this right?

Now she’s been traumatized because she was forced by airline staff to euthanize her ESA

And I’d bet good money she’s already purchased the next animal that she’ll kill the moment it becomes inconvenient.

Good GOD.

Pretty sure the Venture Bros “Action Man” is based on David Bowie’s classic “Ashes to Ashes” which references the original so in a way they’re both the same thing

Cuz he’s so, so scared about the mean mean ladies!

Well, most women didn’t need to know it, because we knew it already, but a lot of people apparently still need to hear, “A lot of men treat women badly in ways that aren’t illegal but still really suck.”

I’m no publicist, but if I were, I would advise every client who gets asked about sexual harassment to say “It’s absolutely terrible, unacceptable, reprehensible and everyone needs to be held accountable”, and then move on. Why are famous people having such a hard time with this?

It’s worse than that—he also talks specifically about how he disapproves of Facebook collecting your data and selling it, as if Verizon doesn’t do the same thing.

It’s not even weird sex. This is a common phenomenon that nobody talks about. Men say they had bad sex when they didn’t enjoy it as much as normal; women have bad sex when it’s painful. Bad sex for men is a 7/10; for women it’s like a 4/10. The scales are completely inconsistent but we’re using the same words. There’s

Thomas Middleditch starring in the new AV Club Interview Series: “Is *This* Your Landmine?”

“[At this point, Middleditch’s publicist cuts in to say that we have one minute left, then asks that we return to talking about the film.—ed.]”

Thank god his publicist cut him off before he said all lives matter
