Chrysler might've been gobbled up, but GM would've survived a non-government bankruptcy. A company that large with so many assets doesn't just disappear.

Maybe without all the paintings on it. A rented one of those saved my brother's life once. A truck moved over on him and went for the squish up against a Jersey barrier. The truck ground him against the wall for a few yards, which damaged every body panel except the roof, but none of the glass was broken. The car

Hornets' nests are like nature's piñata.

I've never been a fan of column gearshifts, mostly because it represented so much of what was wrong with the malaise-era cars that I grew up with. Even worse were the non-6 place cars that we had that still had a bench and column shift. That's about as useless as inappropriate sex organs on farm animals.

I'm not a Ford guy, and I love the GTO, but I have to say that the seating, pedal, and gearshift positions were much worse on the New Edge cars than the post '05 DEW98 based car. Regardless of exactly which Mustang weakness anyone is picking on, it's still unfair to call it a "terrible" car with so many legitimately

Blasphemy. Cars often are shamed by their own replacements, but the 2005 Mustang GT wasn't exactly a "terrible" car.

Shhh! You'll ruin my adrenochome sales.

It's a lot of fun when you can go around talking about the future without regard for things like physics or possibility. His E-Corde idea just can't work as he described. He talks about things that he wants to do that are still two inventions away from happening. While Musk has done some cool stuff, he isn't yet in

I'd rather have the Mark VII.

I like it a whole lot and the power to weight ratio is insane, but you could build it again for so much less that I have to vote CP. Those early Cavaliers are available for $100 per delivered truckload, and the junkyards have just enough Regal GSes to make L67s a 3 digit proposition. In fact, it's such a great and

No need for me to post it as you beat me to it. Is this police department lazy or blind?

Driftohno!

I've seen Fierarris that look much better than this one. For that price, I'd expect everything about it to be about 3 steps better than this one is. It doesn't look right from any angle. I might pay $5,000, and that's US or Canadian.

Hey, you ain't half bad. Why don't you hang around in case I get jock itch later?

Quick, hit him, Ricky! I hate that samsquamch.

I can't say that I'm too Gung-Ho about it for that price. It's probably easily the nicest one around, but it's not worth $5,000. It wasn't worth that when it was brand-new. That's why it didn't sell (at probably roughly that price).

I'd prefer a Daytona, Lancer, or Lebaron GTS, but I'd certainly take this. My biggest problem with one this old is that the intake plumbing is a "suck through" system instead of a "blow through" system, ie the throttle body is upstream of the turbo. That introduces lag but also means that a blown hose turns into

I have to say TR6, for lack of roof. I've driven an MGB, and anyone over 5' 9" has no place inside of one with the roof up or with a hard roof. I'm sure that a '74 TR6 is no hot ride, but it's fun enough. I'd also guess that 50 year old wire wheels would need nearly constant maintenance.

Everybody has their brand. TDK SA was my go-to when I had a car with tape. Now, I'm 90% sure that neither it nor Maxell's XL-II that I used when there weren't any SAs.
